So, despite being crazy busy with school - we've had some nice highlights to keep us all going!
Earlier this month we headed to Grand Junction to see my sister & her family. Actually, Dave went so he & my BIL could go to some hunting shin-dig. Meanwhile, the kids - my sis & I had a great time, watching her boy's games (bball & lacrosse), and Derek & Jenna LOVED jumping with Auntie Mel on the tramp :)
I LOVED this picture of Derek -- Lately, all his pictures are too cheesy, and I FINALLY captured one of his REAL smiles!

Of course, the typical easter egg dying! We had our niece over so she got to join in on the fun. Hailey & Ariel did blind makeup on each other -- that's what's all over their faces! lol
And, after much anticipation, Derek started SOCCER! He has been SO terribly excited for this! At his first practice, he was all pumped up, telling me he was going to win the practice (even after I explained there wouldn't be another team there). It's fun to see your kids trying new things that they enjoy!
And - he's extra excited because Dave's the coach. :)

Little boys in their soccer uniforms! So cute! I can't believe how old your kids are getting!
BTW: I don't think it was really akward for Carl and Austin, I think Austin was saying the information was a little overwhelming. Carl is so laid back I doubt it bothered him.
Spring soccer is the best, and way to go Dave for being willing to coach that age group! Ryan coached Ben's basketball this year and even at 7&8 it almost did him in. :)
