Our fabulous "4th"

The 4th of July has come and gone again for this year, and we had a terrific time. We did our traditional activites up w/ my brother Steve & my SIL Jenny. They always put on the spread for gatherings, and this was no exception.
The pics are out of order, but in the afternoon of the 4th we had a HUGE bbq of steak, chicken and brats -- SO TASTY -- along with a lovely selection of side dishes.
Hailey decided it would be fun to trip Dave into the kiddie pool...
Dave never gets even, he "gets ahead" -- this was his revenge to Hailey (after dunking her profusely)
Another fun tradion we have is the annual badminton tourney. Here's Dave bowing in defeat to our BIL Bill.
Here's the final two - Steve & Bill (who reigned victorious in the tournament)
Here's a little of my action shot - I really love badminton, it's so fun!
My sister Michele w/ her daughter Amelia & Jenna

A bunch of the cousins staying cool in the water
My SIL Jenny, sister Mel, niece Brittanie & Me - enjoying the tournament from the shade!
We hit the Kaysville parade in the morning. Here are my oldest nephews Ben & Matt - notice they are too cool to be up close trying to snag the candy!
Now, here are the serious candy catchers - FRONT ROW!!
Our attempt at a self family-portrait. The timers are always a little tricky!
Handstand competition!! I was totally the winner on this -- Do you like my pointed toes?? That's like an extra 2 points! :)
Dave & Hailey were about a tie
Jenna had a great time w/ all the commotion at the parade
Steve w/ Jon & Eli at the parade

After the big 5k race, here's Hailey & I

I totally LOVE the fourth of July, it's such a fun filled time to hang w/ the family, and make new memories.

Radio '09

Well, the "radio" came to town again, and it was a hit!! Derek was SOOO excited to go!! And by "radio" I really mean RODEO! We went w/ our friends the Fosters and had such a great night!
Derek's FAVORITE part of the night was the motorcycles (how random) that performed in one of the breaks. He LOVED it!

Ethan & Cambrie
Me & my little man! (LOVE THE HAT!)
This was his expression when we were driving up to the rodeo grounds! Do you think he was excited?
